Dental Implants the Prosthetic that Nature Designed
Anyone missing teeth knows that an incomplete smile can affect oral function and beauty. Eating and speaking are difficult, and you hide your smile in public out of embarrassment. Missing teeth may negatively affect your professional, social, and romantic endeavors. Maybe you've considered dentures or a partial, but you don't like the idea of a cumbersome care routine. A bridge might solve your problem, but to place it, the dentist would have to alter some of your healthy teeth. You do have one other option.
Dental implants are a prosthetic solution that imitates nature's design. An implant consists of a biocompatible titanium post and an esthetic crown or other prosthetic. The post is anchored to the jawbone, so it becomes an imitation tooth root. Dr. Morgan will attach a single crown, or a bridge, partial, or denture to the implant(s) to complete your smile. Dental implants do not slip, they require no adhesive or clasps, and they should be cared for as natural teeth. Simply brush, floss, and see Dr. Morgan twice a year for a checkup and hygiene visit.
Patients with dental implants enjoy renewed quality of life with increased self-confidence and improved oral function. It's like turning back the clock, reclaiming the strong, beautiful teeth of your youth.
Dr. Morgan trained in dental implant procedures at the respected Misch Institute. He will be happy to meet with you and assess your case to determine whether dental implants are an option for you. Not everyone has sufficient oral health and bone structure to be a dental implant candidate. In some cases, bone grafts and restorative therapies can improve a patient's potential to receive dental implants. |
